The Ticketbutler ticketing system is completely free for you to use. For paid tickets, a small ticket fee is added to the price of your ticket. By default, this ticket fee is covered by the ticket buyer (unless you choose to absorb the fee as an organiser).
The fee is €0.45 + 4% of the ticket price. For example, if the ticket price is €25, the fee is €1.45, if the price is €50, the fee is €2.45, and if the price is €100, the total fee amounts to €4.45, etc.
Please note: The ticketing fee is capped at €8, ensuring that your costs remain predictable and affordable, regardless of the ticket price.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ticketing platform free? Yes. The event ticketing platform is free for all event organisers to use – no registration or set-up costs. You can also choose to absorb the fee in the ticket price or you can pass the fee on to the customer.
- Cap fee: €1 + 4% of the ticket price is a relatively low fee. However, we do have a cap that ensures you are never charged more than €8, no matter the ticket price.
Extras: When you sell extras in the ticketing purchase flow (e.g. merchandise, drinks or meals), an extra fee of €0,27 + 2% per sold product is charged

- How does the guest pay? We have made it easy for your guests to purchase your tickets. Let your guests pay with e.g. Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and MobilePay.
Ongoing payments: If you need to pay for event expenses in advance, we’ve got you covered with our “get-paid-as-you-go” service through Stripe. Select the Stripe payment method when creating your free Ticketbutler account if you want scheduled payouts of your ticket sales prior to the event. Please note that Stripe charges a fee per order for handling advance payouts. Find the Stripe fee for your country via this link.
- When do I receive the money? Depending on your preferred payment method, we process your ticket revenue within 3 working days after your event. If you choose Stripe, you decide when you would like your payout.
Are there any commitments? No. There are no financial commitments or monthly fees when it comes to using our ticketing system. Sign up in seconds and try out the platform, all for free.
Ongoing Payments
If you would like your revenue paid out ongoing before the event, simply fill out an online form before starting your tickets sales. Once your application has been received and accepted, you will receive your money ongoing with seven days delay. You can also choose to receive the total revenue after the event in order to avoid unnecessary accounting work.
