MORE THAN 31,000 GUESTS IN ONE WEEKEND
More than 31,000 participating guests buckled up and attended the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix at Bellahøj, Denmark – a historic motorsports event for the whole family.
This specific Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix took place on 6-8 August 2021, but has been a recurring annual event for more than two decades. The event is full speed and filled with drama and action, while celebrating historic racing cars, famous Danish and foreign racing drivers as well as the fascinating history of racing; from the very beginning of motorsports to the modern-day electric and hybrid cars.
Ticketbutler provided the ticketing system, supported the check-in and also received a few nice words along the way. We have documented the road to success with a short video in this article.

Get prepped for success
Preparing is paramount to an event’s success. We at Ticketbutler made sure that all check-in stations were equipped with mobile phones that could instantly scan guests’ tickets upon arrival. The phones you see in the image below are of the brand “OnePlus”, but Ticketbutler’s free check-in app with real-time data can be installed on all kinds of phones, both Android and iOS.
Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix sold tickets online via their website as well as physically at the entrance during the course of the three days the event took place. In order to avoid queues at the different entrances, we installed a check-in station where guests could easily buy tickets via mounted tablets placed by the entrance. Payment was handled swiftly via MobilePay (the customer favorite in Denmark), and the tickets were automatically sent via SMS, after which the guests could proceed directly to the entrance.
